Ground breaking ceremony of Niwa Foundry Vietnam Factory – Phase 1 Project

On March 12th, 2015, Niwa Foundry Vietnam organized a Ground breaking ceremony of Niwa Foundry Vietnam Factory Project in Danang Hi-tech Industrial Zone. This is the second FDI project to invest in Da Nang Hi-tech Park.

Precision Machine Manufacture was kicked off on March 12, 2015 by Niwa Foundry Vietnam. This is a fully automated factory, which specializes in molding components, fittings in hydraulic parts, high precision mechanical parts for industrial machinery (excavators, bulldozers). ) and agricultural machines (reapers, tractors, …). Scale (capacity chain) to 480,000 products per year. Products are exported to enterprises operating in export processing zones in Da Nang, Binh Duong and foreign enterprises operating in Thailand and Indonesia. When operating at full capacity, the plant will reach the number of products up to 4.8 million products per year.

Niwa Foundry in Japan (parent company) has a history of over 50 years and is one of the top 10 foundries in Japan.

The precision mechanics factory of Niwa Foundry Vietnam is 3.11 ha, plot A14-1, Trung Tam, Da Nang Hi-tech Park. Phase 1 will officially go into operation in April 2016 and continue to invest in the second phase by 2020 to increase capacity to 4.800.000 products per year. Due to the nature of a fully automated plant, the resources for each stage are not many: Phase 1: 30 employees; Phase 2: 60 employees.

With the aim of contributing and developing the supporting industry of Vietnam, Niwa Foundry has implemented the training policy, especially the technology transfer effort for Da Nang young workers in particular and Vietnam in general. So far, the company has sent 7 engineers to Japan to train Japanese professionals within 18 months. These employees are equipped with elementary Japanese language in parallel with the technical and engineering expertise required in casting in an Automation Factory.
